What are Components? Well, first off a ” Component” is nothing more than a group of data and other information stored in your application and/or web based environment. Components are reusable views which you can attach to layouts or existing content so that users can add and manipulate your information on the fly in the browser. Each component’s settings and attributes have its own special characteristics, therefore, whenever you’re starting a new project, it’s a good practice to have everything tied together by means of a design that enables you to utilize the most out of every component.
When building a website or creating applications, one of the most important aspects of designing a website is what are components? First of all, what are components? Components are reusable web building blocks that can be added to an existing website or application and change how it works. All components have their own special characteristics and settings, therefore, when developing a site, you should investigate each component’s role and setting(s) in relation to your site.
There are two main types of components – System and user code. Within the system component, there are standard “widgets” which are used to facilitate the proper operation of the live app and/or system. These components are typically defined by their function and the way they interact with the system. For instance, a widget is a standard component and it displays some sort of content (image, text, etc.) on the screen and/or manages some other data.
So now we know what are components, but what are they used for? Well, what are components used for in a live web application? A typical web application will have a number of “widgets” and they are what make up a typical web application’s “ui.” Widgets allow users to perform common tasks and/or views. For example, you may have a blog where you allow your readers to post comments, and then select a “list of recent comments” component to see what they have written.
Another example would be a Twitter App – a simple app where you allow people to post tweets (and replies) regarding any topic. A widget could be included which displays a list of recent tweets regarding any selected topic and provides relevant links as well. So what are components used for in this particular example? The widget displays a single tweet, the component provides a link to another tweet, and the third component displays a content area with the associated tweets.
One very important component that must be at the top of your design workflow is what are components and what are they used for? As you probably know, a typical web page is made up of many different elements which make up the page. It is only through the use of these elements that the web page becomes functional. Therefore, a good design system will make sure to get all of these items included when building a web site.
Some designers may think that what are components are only for design purposes – but in fact, they are much more than that. Components actually dictate how your page looks as a whole. For instance, if one element is missing, the whole page will look empty. You can add as many different elements as you like – each one serving a purpose that enables you to accomplish the overall design of your page. Therefore, when you are working on your page, you are using multiple component instances – a single master component instance – to achieve the look you want.
Now you may be wondering what are components, but you also need to understand what are system components within your design system. A system component is an instance or a single master component in your design system that is responsible for behavior. For instance, your website might have header images and footer images – these are both system components. Then there are also links and form fields – all of these are instance components. You can delete these components if you do not need them, but that will mean that your page will look empty – which will defeat the purpose of having all of these things in the first place!
